Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to support the Critical Care Unit (CCU) at Navicent Health Medical Center. The 10-bed CCU serves adult/geriatric patients with complex conditions needing invasive monitoring and ventilation, with day shifts and weekend requirements.

The role is 36 hours per week on a full-time schedule. The RN will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, ensure safety, document in the EHR, and participate in education and quality

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in GA (multi-state or single-state).
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Documents in the EHR accurately and timely.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and practices ethical decision-making.
