Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on a full-time night shift. The CCU is an 18-bed cardiac ICU providing multidisciplinary care for critically ill cardiac patients, with advanced monitoring and support.

The RN will work within an interdisciplinary team, uphold evidence-based practice, and contribute to performance improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Less than 1 year of nursing program completion with required clinical hours.

Responsibilities

• Performs the nursing process and evidence-based practice to deliver individualized care.
• Provides relation-based, patient-centered care with cultural sensitivity.
• Collaborates with the inter-disciplinary team and engages in effective bedside communication.
• Participates in performance improvement and governance activities.
