The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Inc. (MCCG) in Macon operates a 10-bed Critical Care Unit dedicated to the care of critically ill adults who require invasive monitoring and/or mechanical ventilation.

RNs new to critical care participate in the Critical Care Academy (CCA) to build expertise and competency. You will engage in governance, deliver evidence-based care, monitor patients, promote safety, and document accurately in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a board-approved nursing program.
• BLS certification required; state RN license to practice.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.

Responsabilités

• Engage in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process: assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate; engage patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, mobilize resources, collaborate with care team.
