Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks an RN Clinical Nurse for Critical Care on the night shift. The role is 24 hours per week with patient-centered, evidence-based care tailored to diverse populations.

The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and support shared governance in a high-acuity environment. Applicants must hold an active RN license in GA (or compact) and have ACLS/BLS certifications, plus at least two years of direct patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma; Bachelor's preferred
• RN license in Georgia or compact license
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience
• English language proficiency and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice
• Provides patient-centered care respecting age, gender, disease, and culture
• Partners with patient and family through bedside shift reports, rounds, and teaching to achieve patient goals
• Promotes and practices evidence-based nursing and participates in governance and quality initiatives
