Job summary

The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Inc (MCCG) is seeking an experienced registered nurse to contribute to quality patient care across units. The role uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families throughout the care continuum.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, and collaborating with the care team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license; BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain state licensure in the states where care is provided.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units and departments to meet patient care needs; demonstrates ethical, age-appropriate care across the lifespan.
