Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications may be needed based on specialty.
• Licensed nurses practicing via telehealth/telenursing must be licensed in the client state(s).

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and promotes ethical decision‑making.
• May administer medications and therapies following clinical protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation and participates in team delegation.
