Job summary

The Medical Center of Central Georgia, Inc (MCCG) seeks an RN to join the CVICU, a 26-bed adult critical care unit specializing in cardiovascular and thoracic/vascular surgery. You will care for patients with ECMO, Impella, IABP, and other advanced therapies in a collaborative team setting.

Requires RN licensure and BLS; BSN is preferred. You will apply the nursing process, maintain safety, document accurately, and participate in ongoing professional development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Georgia and BLS certification required.
• BSN preferred for this CVICU role.
• Experience in critical care or high-acuity settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR.
