Job summary

MetroHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The shift is 7a-7p and 7p-7a with rotating weekends and holidays. Up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates.

Unit features include telemetry monitoring, patient lifts, and hands-free communication. Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, and Providers in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West.
• Provide nursing care with a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Assist with bedside procedures and manage respiratory support.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
