Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) in Ohio. The role includes caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, with a 24-bed unit and a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The unit utilizes advanced telemetry and bedside technology to support care delivery.

Shifts are 7a–7p or 7p–7a with rotating weekends and holidays. Eligible RNs may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced candidates or $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions; collaborate with care team.
• Assist with bedside procedures and coordinate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT and OT.
