Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West) at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. You will care for patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and bedside procedures while coordinating with PCNAs, interns, and providers.

This full-time role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 6 months, and one year of RN experience for PRN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire
