Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus. The role supports patients with congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, providing advanced nursing care in a 14-bed unit.

The RN will collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, and therapists, utilizing telemetry, bedside procedures, and ventilator management as needed. Ohio licensure and BLS/ACLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.
