St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide ventilatory support across critical and non-critical areas. You will evaluate and administer respiratory therapies, assist with procedures, and participate in rapid response teams.

Requirements include an active RRT license, NBRC credentials, and ACLS within 12 months. Minimum 6 months of clinical experience and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Current License as a Respiratory Therapist required.
• Credentials through NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care) required.
• Minimum of 6 months clinical experience, either during training or post-graduation.
• BLS by American Heart Association required.
• ACLS within one year of hire; PALS recommended.

Responsabilités

• Set up and maintain ventilatory support for adult and pediatric patients.
• Wean patients from ventilation in coordination with physicians.
• Assess patients and document findings; consult with physicians on therapy.
• Administer respiratory care and oxygen therapy per orders or protocols.
• Evaluate therapy outcomes and adjust as needed.
• Serve on Code Blue and Rapid Response teams.
• Draw arterial blood gases and manage airways; assist with procedures.
• Perform bedside diagnostic studies (PFT, oximetry, CO2 monitoring).
• Assist physicians with bronchoscopy and related procedures.
• Participate in in-service education.
