Qualifications

• Current license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Credentials received through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and maintains ventilatory support for adults and children in all critical care areas.
• Evaluates patient response and adjusts therapy per physician orders or protocols.
• Performs arterial blood gas sampling and analyzes results.
• Assists physicians with bronchoscopy at bedside and related procedures.
• Participates in rapid response and Code Blue dynamics as needed.
