Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join its patient‑focused care team.

You will perform critical care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages, maintain respiratory equipment, and ensure quality control in a dynamic hospital setting. Ideal candidates hold NBRC RRT credentials and Texas licensure, with BLS and, for ICU/NICU staff, ACLS/NRP certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Current Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• BLS certification; ACLS/NRP as applicable to ICU/NICU staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory care equipment.
• Perform technical procedures related to cardiopulmonary care.
• Assess patients and interpret results to guide therapy.
• Document and communicate patient plans with physicians and nurses.
