Job summary

Advocate Health's Carolinas Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for Respiratory Therapy Services in Charlotte, NC. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with a sign-on bonus eligible and a pay range of $30.70–$46.05 per hour.

You will manage oxygen delivery, ventilators, and associated therapies, documenting in EMR and collaborating with the care team. The ideal candidate will be an NBRC-registered RRT with state licensure, BLS certification, and an associate degree in

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent).
• NBRC-credentialed RRT and state license required.
• BLS for healthcare providers required; advanced certification per facility.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed respiratory therapies and monitors oxygen delivery.
• Operates and adjusts mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and evaluates current therapies.
• Documents therapy results and communicates with the care team.
• Maintains EMR documentation and follows safety/regulatory guidelines.
• Completes annual proficiency evaluations of respiratory care equipment.
