Job summary

Prime Healthcare's Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory therapy and diagnostic services in an acute care setting. Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months.
• BLS certification from AHA/ARC required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification from AHA/ARC required upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification from AHA/ARC required upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate required upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days.
• Associate degree or BS degree preferred.
• Two years of acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in acute care.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document care considering patient age and needs.
• Possibly lead the RCP section during shifts as assigned.
