Prime Healthcare Resurrection Medical Center in Illinois is seeking a part-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 12-week temporary contract. The position offers nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, with rotating weekends in a fast-paced acute care setting.

The RCP II will perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics under medical direction, with potential lead responsibilities during shifts. Required credentials include current RCP license, NBRC RRT or eligibility, BLS, ACLS, PALS (or

Competenze

• RCP license required and NBRC RRT eligibility or certification within 3 months.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at hire and maintained.
• PALS certification at hire or within 60 days; NRP by hire or within 60 days.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; 2 years acute care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Document care, assess patient needs, and plan/implement accordingly.
• May serve as Lead RCP on shift as assigned.

Formazione

Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required

NBRC RRT certification or obtained within 3 months of hire

BLS certification (AHA/ARC) at hire and maintain

ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) at hire and maintain

PALS certification (AHA) at hire or within 60 days

NRP certificate at hire or within 60 days

Associate or Bachelor degree preferred
