Job summary

Carle Health in Urbana, IL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to perform routine and critical respiratory care under supervision. You will assess patient needs, administer therapies, and chart results across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Required licensing as an RCP in IL, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP within specified timelines. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (IDFPR).
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC).
• BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, PALS within 1 year, NRP within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate results of patient respiratory care and ensure care plans are followed.
• Administer and document respiratory therapy and medications.
• Set up and monitor oxygen, aerosol, humidity and ventilator therapies.
• Provide ventilator support and airway management for all ages.
• Perform ABG/CBG analysis and participate in quality controls.
