The candidate will collaborate with physicians and support staff while ensuring patient safety. The position requires NBRC RRT, IDFPR licensure, and BLS within 30 days, with an Associate's or higher in Respiratory Therapy.

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT certification required
• IDFPR licensure required
• BLS within 30 days required
• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent
• Certificate of Completion in Respiratory Therapy

Responsibilities

• Administer oxygen therapy using multiple devices
• Set up and maintain ventilators/CPAP for patients
• Perform airway maintenance and extubation care
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR as needed
• Collaborate with physicians on patient care plans
• Operate pulmonary function testing equipment as trained
• Supervise certified and non-certified technicians when needed
