Qualifications

• RRT certification and active IL license required.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide all aspects of respiratory care under physician guidance.
• Administer oxygen, ventilators, CPAP; monitor and adjust therapies.
• Perform pulmonary function testing and 12-lead EKG prep.
• Coordinate with physicians and supervise technicians as needed.
• Ensure safe handling of respiratory equipment and patient care across ages.
• Participate in continuing education and performance improvement programs.

Education

NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Certification

Illinois Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (IDFPR)

Associate's Degree: Respiratory Therapy

Certificate of Completion: Respiratory Therapy

Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA
