ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Santa Ana is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe, competent respiratory care across hospital areas. You will monitor ventilation, administer medications, assess patients, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

The role requires licensure as an RCP, BCLS and ACLS on hire, with 1+ year experience preferred. The hospital offers a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, and wellness programs.

Qualifikationen

• Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) from an accredited respiratory therapy program (Required) Or
• Associate’s Degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program (Required)
• RCP - Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or comparable certification Upon Hire (Required) And
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required) And
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required)

Aufgaben

• Deliver respiratory care procedures as per policies and protocols.
• Document and charge for respiratory care procedures; maintain care elements in the patient plan of care.
• Verify and initiate physician orders for respiratory care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment and devices.
• Monitor ventilation, oxygen delivery, ABG sampling, and patient response; provide patient education.
