Job summary

Kindred Hospital Santa Ana is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe, competent respiratory care per physician orders. You will monitor mechanical ventilation, administer medications, assess patients, and support hemodynamic monitoring and blood work interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures per hospital policies and protocols.

• Verify and initiate physician orders for respiratory therapy.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment including ventilators.
• Assist in airway management and emergency procedures including airway and suction.
• Provide patient and family teaching and handoffs; participate in rounds and inservices.
