Job summary

Kindred Hospital Santa Ana seeks a Respiratory Therapist to provide safe and competent respiratory care as ordered by physicians. You will monitor ventilation, administer medications, assess patients, and contribute to hemodynamic assessment and ABG interpretation.

The role requires proper licensure (RCP) with ACLS/BCLS credentials and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate or diploma from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program.
• RCP license required; CRT/RRT preferred, ACLS/BCLS completion required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory care procedures across hospital areas per policies.
• Document and charge for respiratory care procedures accurately.
• Verify and initiate physician orders for respiratory care.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment and devices.
• Assist with airway management, ventilation, and suction techniques.
• Provide patient and family teaching and handoff reports.
