Kindred Hospital Los Angeles seeks a Respiratory Therapist to deliver safe respiratory care per physician orders, monitor ventilation, and assess patients. You will document services, verify orders, and update patient records while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and staff to support recovery goals.

The role requires NBRC registry eligibility, ACLS and BLS certifications, and at least 1 year of acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under stress and respond quickly in emergency situations.
• Good interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, families and staff.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written.
• Understand growth and development for adult and geriatric patients.

Responsabilités

• Perform airway management including bag/mask ventilation and assist with intubation as needed.
• Document all respiratory care procedures accurately in the department system.
• Verify physician orders and update patient profiles with current clinical status.
• Provide timely updates to physicians and hospital staff and participate in rounds and in-services.
