Advocate Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in alignment with hospital protocols. The role includes delivering oxygen therapy, performing diagnostic procedures, and managing ventilator support in a high‑acuity setting.

Candidates must hold NBRC RRT credentials, state licensure, and BLS. A graduate from an approved Respiratory Therapy program with at least an associate degree is required; a BA/BS or higher is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required (or equivalent experience). BA/BS or higher preferred.
• Credentialed as an RRT by NBRC; current state licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner/RT.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment; conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures.
• Administers and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per policy.
• Monitors and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; understands critical care duties.
