Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department goals and adheres to policies and safety standards.
• Assesses patient dimensions and educational needs and documents appropriately.
• Performs respiratory therapy treatments and services including oxygen, humidity, ventilators, bronchodilators, lung expansion, spirometry, ABG analysis.
• Maintains effective communication and crisis intervention when caring for patients.
• Reviews electronic medical records and physician orders during shifts.
• Responds to CPR situations and supports airway management.
• Improves workflow and interdepartmental processes as needed.
• Follows competency validation documents for patient populations served.
