Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
• 2 years of relevant experience hospital pharmacy.
• Preferred residency or board certification in a related specialty.
• Active Pharmacist licensure in the State of Michigan.
• Experience with critical care or specialized pharmacy practice is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and screen medication orders for appropriate agent, dose, and interactions.
• Safely compound and dispense medications for patient administration.
• Evaluate patients and order labs; provide dosage recommendations.
• Supervise and direct technicians, residents, interns and staff.
• Educate patients and families to optimize therapy and outcomes.
