Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks a clinical pharmacist to partner with the Pharmacy Manager, delivering direct medication management for critically ill patients and actively engaging in rapid response events and rounds.

You will optimize therapy, lead initiatives to improve safety and outcomes, and serve as a resource for medical teams while contributing to antimicrobial stewardship and education.

Qualifications

• PharmD or pharmacist degree from an accredited school.
• Indiana licensure or eligibility for licensure in Indiana.
• Hospital pharmacy residency or equivalent clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based medication management for critically ill and emergent patients.
• Participate in rapid response events, stroke alerts, code blues and rounds.
• Optimize therapy through real-time clinical decision making.
• Lead quality, safety and clinical outcomes initiatives.
• Serve as a clinical resource to physicians and nurses.
• Support antimicrobial stewardship and protocol adherence.
• Engage in teaching, precepting, and multidisciplinary education.
