JobRx, Inc. is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist focused on critical care to develop, implement and maintain clinical pharmacy programs supporting patient-centered care.

The role includes reviewing orders, ensuring safe dispensing, and collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize therapy. The successful candidate will have ACPE-accredited education, a Pharm.D or BS, and Florida licensure or eligibility, with experience in acute-care hospital or residency

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of Pharmacy accredited by the ACPE.
• BS or Pharm.D degree.
• Experience as a Pharmacist in an acute-care hospital setting or general pharmacy practice residency preferred.
• Current Florida Pharmacist License or License eligible. Board certified.
• Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders and checks technician work for drug appropriateness, dosage, route and interactions; adjusts dosage/schedule as needed.
• Ensures safe dispensing per age guidelines and USP 797 for IV admixtures.
• Evaluates clinical data and supports toolkit development.
• Oversees pharmacy distribution activities including order receipt, storage, CS process, dispensing.
• Monitors narcotic transactions and reconciles quantities with DEA 222 forms and invoices.
• Assists physician consults and retrieves reliable drug information.
• Contributes to patient-centered care in a quiet healing environment.
• Communicates with patients, families and team respectfully.
• Interprets physician orders accurately and clarifies when needed.
