Job summary

Boston Medical Center (BMC) seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the Critical Care Teaching Innovation Unit. You will work under the RN, delivering direct clinical and support services to patients and families in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, hygiene support, and ensuring a safe, well-equipped environment while contributing to optimal patient outcomes. On-site, 24-hour schedule options may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS/ CPR certification, current or within 30 days.
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical and support services to patients.
• Obtain vital signs, assist with hygiene, and support RN care.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the Critical Care unit.
• Contribute to efficient unit operations and patient outcomes.
