Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our Critical Care team. Under RN supervision, you will provide direct clinical support, assist with daily patient care, and contribute to a patient-centered care model for patients and families.

Roles include vital signs, hygiene assistance, and collaboration with the nursing staff to ensure safe, compassionate care. Strong teamwork and adherence to hospital policies are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification required (current or within 30 days).
• Ability to pass clinical competency testing.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, assist with hygiene, baths, feeding, and wound care in the Critical Care setting.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with inventory.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to support patient and family needs and ensure quality outcomes.
