Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health seeks a licensed Physician Assistant for its Inpatient Medicine/Intensivist team in Texas. The PA will round, manage admissions and discharges, and provide patient care within critical care settings under physician supervision.

Eligible candidates will have an accredited PA program, TX license, BLS/ACLS within 30 days, and NCCPA certification. Inpatient rounds and on-call support may be required based on coverage needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited PA program.
• Current Texas PA license to practice (or eligible).
• BLS and ACLS certifications within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• NCCPA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses physical and mental condition of patients and takes medical histories.
• Orders, interprets labs and tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes medications and treatments per protocol; participate in care plans.
