Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join as a Donation Coordinator. You will respond on-site to donor referrals, provide clinical expertise and educate hospital staff on the donation process in a highly dynamic environment.

The role requires travel across New England, assessing complex clinical events and obtaining donor consent from families, with 16-hour on-call shifts and an orientation program

Qualifications

• 3–5 years clinical or critical care experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; CPTC Certification a plus.
• Ideal candidates live within an hour of Lowell, MA.

Responsibilities

• Respond on-site to donor referrals to provide clinical expertise in donor evaluation.
• Assist with donor management, organ allocation and organ recovery.
• Educate hospital staff on the donation process.
• Work with donor families to obtain consent for donation.
• Travel across New England; participate in on-call shifts and trainings.
