Job summary

New England Donor Services is seeking an experienced ICU RN, Critical Care RN, Trauma Nurse or Critical Care Respiratory Therapist to join our Donation Coordinator team. You will respond on-site to organ donor referrals, providing clinical expertise in donor evaluation and management, organ allocation and recovery.

Orientation begins in January 2027 with a 3-week training in Waltham, MA, followed by on-call shifts and extensive travel across New England.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years clinical experience in critical care or ICU
• Bachelor's Degree preferred; CPTC certification a plus
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively in New England

Responsibilities

• Educate hospital staff on the donation process and donor evaluation
• Obtain consent for donation from donor families
• Coordinate with surgical teams and ICU staff to optimize organ allocation and recovery
• Maintain high clinical performance and calm, professional conduct in high-stress situations
