Job summary

The position requires a BSN, two years of recent nursing experience in CCU/ED/Perioperative, and flexibility for shift work, including nights and weekends. Strong English communication and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years recent nursing experience in a Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Perioperative setting.
• PALS certification upon hire.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement a plan of care for a specific patient group.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and advocate for patients throughout the continuum of care.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and readiness for discharge; revise plans or make referrals as needed.
• Serve as a role model and mentor to students and new nurses; function as a PCC when requested.
