Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut, part of Hartford HealthCare, is seeking an RN for the Critical Care Unit on a 36-hour night shift. This role supports top-level patient care in a private 24-bed CCU, working under Nursing Leadership with a focus on evidence-based practice.

Qualified candidates have an RN license in CT, 1-3 years CCU or med-surgical experience, and ACLS/BLS certification; graduate RNs may qualify for the Nurse Residency program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing.
• Successful completion of nurse residency, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a complex, multi-varianced patient population under nursing leadership.
• Develop and implement plans of care with family involvement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high reliability and safety.
