Job summary

The Hospital of Central CT is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour Critical Care night position on a 24-bed CCU, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver acute care using evidence-based practices.

Candidates should have CT RN licensure, ACLS, 1-3 years CCU/med-surgical experience, and nursing residency completion if applicable. Hartford HealthCare system offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• IV/line placement required.
• ACLS certification required.
• 1-3 year CCU/critical care experience preferred.
• Graduate Nurses considered for role (GNR).
• Nurse residency completion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plan of care for complex patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and physicians.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care and patient education.
• Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
