Job summary

The Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain, CT, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-hour Critical Care night shift. You will join Hartford HealthCare’s comprehensive network, delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care in a 24-bed CCU with private rooms.

Requirements include CT RN license, ACLS, IV/line placement and 1–3 years CCU/med-surgical experience. Graduate nurses may qualify for residency; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and CT RN license.
• ACLS certification and IV/line placement experience required.
• 1–3 years CCU or med-surgical experience preferred.
• Graduate RNs considered for residency pathways.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidenced-based care planning for complex patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
