Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care team at Christiana Hospital. The position is Full-Time Flex (36 hrs/week) with night shift rotations, onsite in New Jersey.

You will provide expert care to critically ill patients and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions. BSN is required (ADN considered with a BSN commitment within 3 years).

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
