Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU team. The role offers a Full-Time Flex schedule (36 hrs/week) with Night Shift rotations at Christiana Hospital.

You will deliver expert care to critically ill patients, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and use advanced monitoring to drive optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years).
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
