Job summary

ChristianaCare’s MICU team is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide expert care in a fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. The role requires strong critical thinking, teamwork, patient advocacy, and the ability to adapt with night shifts and rotations.

You will work with advanced monitoring, collaborate with physicians and specialists, and contribute to high-acuity interventions while pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• BSN required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years)
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
