Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) at Christiana Hospital. This Full-Time Flex (36 hrs/week) position includes night shifts with day shift rotations in a high-acuity ICU environment.

You will provide expert care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and advocate for patients and families, using advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to drive optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
