Job summary

ChristianaCare's MICU is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital. This full-time flex role offers 36 hours per week, with night shifts and day shift rotations, in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

You will provide expert critical care, collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, advocate for patients and families, and leverage advanced monitoring to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
