Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support our ICU services. You will float between CVICU, SICU, and MICU, caring for critically ill patients and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should have ICU experience and be comfortable working in multiple ICU environments. The role may also support other areas based on patient care and staffing needs. Compliance with ANA ethics and Ohio NPA is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Ohio
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
• Experience caring for critically ill patients and floating between ICU environments

Responsibilities

• Perform holistic nursing assessments and develop a plan of care.
• Coordinate patient care across CVICU, SICU and MICU as needed.
• Communicate effectively using SBAR during handoffs and with the care team.
• Maintain ANA code of ethics and comply with Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
