Job summary

Air Methods CBS is seeking a highly skilled registered nurse to join our critical care flight crew. You will deliver lifesaving care during helicopter transport, assess and treat patients, and maintain meticulous documentation while supporting pre-mission and post-mission activities.

Required are an accredited nursing degree, RN licensure, and 3+ years in critical care or emergency nursing, plus current BLS/ACLS/PALS. A flexible schedule and 24/7 on-call readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Minimum three years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years.
• BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS certifications required; trauma certifications may be required within 24 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care during transport and ensure patient safety from scene to facility.
• Maintain documentation and ensure equipment readiness aboard aircraft.
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings and assist with liftoff checklists.
