Job summary

Air Methods Fresno is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality critical care in a helicopter transport setting, collaborating with physicians and pilot teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

You will bring 3+ years of critical care and EMS experience, hold an active RN license, and participate in ongoing education and certification maintenance, with a focus on rapid assessment and decisive action during flight missions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Minimum three years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years
• Current RN license(s) for states of practice
• Flight experience is a plus but not required
• Pre-hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care from initial contact to handoff at receiving facility
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation
• Stay current with licensure, certifications, and continuing education
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff checklists and support pilot as needed
• Participate in meetings, projects, and committees and in outreach activities
