Job summary

Air Methods CBS seeks a Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Flight Crew in Watertown, delivering lifesaving critical care during helicopter transports. You will provide nursing care from initial contact to handoff, following Medical Director guidelines and maintaining safety as the priority.

With 3+ years of recent critical care or emergency nursing experience, you’ll participate in pre-mission briefings, document care thoroughly, and collaborate with EMS, hospitals, and flight crews.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years
• Pre-hospital experience preferred
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from initial contact to handoff to receiving facility
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation
• Participate in pre-mission briefings and debriefings
• Assists with pre-mission liftoff checklist and supports pilot activities as needed
• Ensure safety and equipment readiness aboard aircraft
