Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Florence, AZ seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-level critical care during rotor-wing transport. You will assess, triage, and treat patients per CBS Medical Director guidelines while supporting ongoing education and safety.

The position requires 3+ years of recent critical care experience, RN licensure, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including on-call rotations. Flight experience is a plus, and relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience.
• RN license in states of practice; EMS/MICN certification as required by state.
• Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality critical care during transport and assessment.
• Maintains thorough patient care documentation from initial contact to facility handoff.
• Maintains licensure, certifications, continuing education, and safety training records.
• Attends pre-mission briefings and assists with liftoff and flight safety procedures.
• Supports neonatal/pediatric transport and participates in mission follow-up.
