Job summary

Air Methods CBS is seeking an experienced Critical Care RN for medical flight duties in Crete, NE. You will deliver high‑level critical care during air transport and support ongoing education with our team.

Requirements include a nursing degree and recent critical care experience; flight experience is a plus. Expect a collaborative, fast‑paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field preferred but not required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of recent critical care/emergency nursing experience within the last five years or as required by state/local EMS regulations.
  • Flight experience is not required but is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality critical care during transport and assess and prioritize patient care needs.
  • Attend pre‑mission liftoff and mission debriefings and assist with radio and navigational tasks.
  • Maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft and ensure aircraft safety.
  • Document patient care thoroughly and communicate with receiving facilities.
