OhioGuidestone is seeking a licensed therapist to work under supervision. The role focuses on crisis-responsive counseling for individuals and families with behavioral health needs.

You will provide evidence-based therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with caregivers and community resources to support clients efficiently. The position requires licensure (LSW/LCDC III, LPC, MFT or equivalent), a relevant master’s degree (or bachelor's with experience), and flexible scheduling to meet

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold LSW or LCDC III, LPC, MFT license or related licensure.
• Education credentials include Master’s Degree or equivalent, or Bachelor’s with experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload including clients with severe mental illness or substance use disorders.
• Complete Treatment Plans after first encounter and review progress regularly.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with client, family, and caregivers.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Identify interventions for clients in crisis and coordinate community resources.
• Provide CPST, SUD Targeted Case Management, and/or TBS as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and advocate for the client.
• Participate in treatment conferences and maintain regular contact with professionals.
• Document client interactions accurately and promptly; maintain compliance with guidelines.
• Attend supervision and maintain licenses.

Formation

Master’s Degree or higher in relevant field

Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience in social work or counseling

Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral science or nursing

Effective interpersonal skills

Flexible; days/evenings/weekends

Strong organizational skills
